Date night!

Sami went on her first date last night - with her dad. They attended a holiday party together, where she was the belle of the ball and eschewed cocktails in favor of a bottle of milk brought from home.

She also had her one month checkup yesterday, at exactly four weeks old. The stats:
Weight: 8lbs 8 oz (which was my guess just before the weigh in - mother's intuition!), somewhere between 25th and 50th percentile

Height: 21.25 inches, 75th percentile

And practically perfect in every way. She slept through the whole exam, waking with a cry for her Hep B vaccine, and then falling fast asleep afterward.
